Qualifications

• Strong storage skills in both the block layer and the file system with a focus on optimization.
• Understanding of application I/O.
• Kernel tuning, operating system debugging/tracing expertise, and network tuning expertise.
• Agile and able to context‑switch between a broad spectrum of tasks, diving deeply into problem areas while working as part of a highly technical team.
• Strong scripting/programming background in C, Perl, Bourne Shell/Bash, or Python.
• Linux experience.
• Strong computer science or computer engineering background.
