HPC-EDA Technical GTM Specialist, WWSO HPC Team

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Responsibilities
Lead the HPC EDA workloads GTM strategy, orchestrating sales motions across sales, marketing, partner, product, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of AWS for semiconductor design workloads.
Define and articulate the vision for next-generation cloud-based EDA infrastructure that addresses the unique requirements of frontend and backend chip design, verification, and signoff workflows.
Work directly with semiconductor customers to understand their EDA workload requirements, including memory-intensive backend design stages requiring high-memory instances, and architect scalable solutions on AWS.
Bring market signals, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps, particularly for EDA-specific instance types.
Serve as an evangelist and thought leader for HPC EDA workloads on AWS, credibly representing AWS at industry events and in customer engagements with Field, Sales teams.
Build and maintain relationships with EDA ISV partners to ensure tool compatibility, optimize performance, and create joint go-to-market initiatives.
Leverage deep domain expertise in EDA tools, HPC orchestrators, and semiconductor design flows to create field enablement content, sales strategies, and reference architectures.
Own reporting and planning cadences executives on GTM plan execution, pipeline health, capacity constraints, progress toward EDA workload expansion targets.
Requirements
Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience in the semiconductor or EDA industry
5+ years of experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure
Experience with cloud computing concepts and architecture, particularly as they relate to compute-intensive and memory-intensive workloads
Experience working with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and workflows, including frontend design (RTL, synthesis, simulation) and/or backend design (place and route, timing closure, signoff)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Knowledge of EDA-specific infrastructure requirements including high-performance shared storage, license management, and data security
Experience with major EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence Siemens or Ansys
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with focus on VLSI design, computer architecture, or semiconductor manufacturing
