HPC CS Financial & Reporting Controller

Viridien is an advanced technology, digital and Earth data company that pushes the boundaries of science for a more prosperous and sustainable future. The company is seeking an HPC CS Financial and Reporting Controller to join its worldwide HPC and Cloud Solutions team within an international high‑tech environment. In this role you will ensure that financial and strategic information is timely, accurate, complete, compliant and properly reported to the Head of Business Line and Corporate.

Responsibilities

• Present the financial reporting to the Head of HPC and Cloud Solutions
• Deliver and enhance the financial reporting that will be presented at the Executive Committee of the Group by the Head of HPC and Cloud Solutions (instructions, forecast, key indicators and presentation)
• Support management with the preparation of budget and financial forecasts
• Contribute to the 3‑year business plan and yearly budgeting processes
• Coordinate and supervise reporting processes with multi‑layer stakeholders (Corporate, Business Managers and Data Centers / Local Controllers)
• Deliver expected reporting streams (revenue, cash collection, AR, OPINC, EBITDA, WC/CAPEX/Investment, cross‑charge allocation, …)
• Carry out analysis and explain variances (actual, budget, update, previous year) through bridges and ad hoc analysis
• Provide support to Business Managers and cost controlling with insightful analysis
• Monitor performance, report key variances and KPI’s of the transverse departments of HPC and Cloud Solutions Business Lines
• Assist HPC Business Managers in developing external growth, revenue and capacity
• Enhance deliverables, models and platforms with AI (MS Copilot, Claude)
• Perform and assist in strengthening IFRS 16 forecast through the Business Line (process and training)
• Handle revenue recognition, backlog and related operational processes
• Provide support to various projects (investments analysis, financing, audit)

Skills / Competencies

• Proficient with financial data analysis tools (MS Excel; data retrieve tools) and use of financial databases (OneStream)
• Proficient working level in PowerPoint
• AI skillset
• Analytical mindset
• High‑performance communication skills, with the ability to work with executive level and multi‑layers including both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
• Dynamic, open‑minded team player with a desire for continuous improvement
• IFRS 16 (or US equivalent) & debt financing knowledge, financial engineering

Background

• Financial background needed in accounting and controlling with good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting (or related field)
• Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a FP&A/controlling role within a multicultural environment
