- Acts as the collection point for applications up to 11 kV voltage level.
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of power supply systems up to 11 kV.
- Functions as the field engineer for any High Tension (HT) voltage system.
Division Office
Officer in charge: Executive Engineer
- Possesses extensive knowledge of the division, strong technical expertise in electrical systems across all voltage levels, and experience in managing site-level operations.
- Handles applications for all voltage levels.
- Acts as the field-level officer for systems above 33 kV.
- Verifies documents, application forms, and attachments as per regulations.
- Conducts feasibility surveys for connection points at any voltage level.
- Submits reports to the Circle Office.
- Responsible for power supply systems up to 33 kV.
Circle Office
Officer in charge: Superintending Engineer
- Responsible for overseeing revenue collection across the circle, ensuring efficient management of subordinate offices, and enforcing strict compliance with safety standards.
- Manages power supply systems above 33 kV.
- Primary responsibility for revenue generation and financial matters.
- Can approve connections up to 33 kV and 1000 kVA contract demand within its circle.
- Applications above this limit are forwarded to the Regional Office.
Regional Office
Officer in charge: Executive Director
- Holds overall responsibility for the administration and performance of the region, ensuring effective coordination among Circle and Division offices.
- Duties encompass strategic planning, revenue oversight, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Provides leadership in policy implementation, resource management, and customer service.
- Can approve load demand up to 2500 kVA.
- Applications exceeding this limit are forwarded to the Head Office Power Management Team.
Head Office
Officer in charge: Executive Director (Regulatory Affairs & Power Management)
- Holds overall responsibility for policy formulation, regulatory compliance, and strategic oversight of power management.
- Role includes close coordination with transmission and generation companies to ensure reliable power supply, effective load management, and adherence to statutory and safety standards.
- Provides leadership in aligning regulatory frameworks with operational needs, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining seamless integration across the power sector value chain.
- Power Management Team approves any voltage level or load demand.
- Reviews feasibility for loads above 5000 kVA.
