About the role
Protiviti is looking for a Technology Senior Manager to join our growing Project & Program Management team. As a Senior Manager, you’ll partner with our clients to manage complex business and technology projects and transformations, providing impactful advice and solutions. You will develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking and devise solutions to support client needs through the latest tools and methods. You’ll develop lasting relationships with client personnel, foster a network within the business community, and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also mentor teams, provide performance development, and oversee the successful completion of project work plans.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex business and technology projects and transformations, delivering impactful solutions.
- Develop strategies to solve complex business problems using innovative approaches and tools.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with client personnel, including senior executives.
- Foster a professional network and serve as a Protiviti ambassador in the market.
- Mentor and provide performance development to teams, overseeing project work plans.
- Contribute to client proposals and strategies to win new business.
- Identify opportunities to integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities.
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
- Lead and supervise teams, including conducting performance appraisals, coaching, and coordination across teams.
- Translate and communicate complex issues or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Transformation Office Enablement
- Technology Program Delivery
- Program Management as a Service (PMaaS)
- Agile Enablement & Delivery
- Previous experience in organizational planning and execution of strategic IT technology initiatives in areas such as:
- Program Office Transformation (Strategy & Operating Model, Governance, Agile/Scaled Agile, PPM Automation, Investment & Portfolio Optimization)
- Digital & Application Program Management (Digital Program Strategy & Roadmap, ERP & Enterprise Applications, Program Risk Management, Agile-enabled Business/Enterprise Transformation)
- Program Management as a Service / Managed PM Services (PMaaS engagement management, managed output/capacity engagements, program support/operations, infrastructure/cloud/core modernization, global program support, "right-shoring")
- Working knowledge of three-tier architecture and its impact on information and security management:
- Presentation Layer (Client, web front-end, etc.)
- Application (business logic) Layer
- Data Layer
- Working knowledge of network and infrastructure.
- Experience with various database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Access).
- Basic knowledge of one or more development languages and SQL.
- Experience with domain management strategies, network segmentation, firewalls, and middleware tools.
- Working knowledge of development and operations (including DevOps), process design, and tools/software.
- Experience with cloud technologies (platforms, infrastructure, software as a service).
- Experience working on enterprise transformation initiatives (e.g., platform modernization and digital).
- Ability to evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data.
- Ability to establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, CIS).
- 7+ years working in professional services and large-scale business and technology project and program management roles.
- Proficiency in project and program management tooling.
- Proficiency with multiple project and work management delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid, etc.).
- Professional certification such as PMP, Agile Scrum/Product Owner, SAFe, or similar strongly preferred.
Schedule
Protiviti practices a hybrid model, combining in-person work with remote flexibility. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. In-person work may include local Protiviti offices or client sites, with potential for local or out-of-state travel based on project needs and client commitments.
Pay
Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule and varies by experience, skills, and geographic work location. The salary range for this job is $137,000.00 - $219,000.00.
Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. The bonus target opportunity for this job is 14%. The estimated total cash range (base salary + bonus) is $156,180.00 - $249,660.00.
