What's your day like?

As a new Housing Specialist at EDEN, you can expect a fast-paced and rewarding work environment. Each day will involve engaging with clients to assess their housing needs, providing guidance through the application process, and connecting them with available resources. You will collaborate closely with community partners to ensure that clients receive comprehensive support.

What matters most

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support clients in navigating their housing challenges.
• A high school diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's Degree in Social Services or a related field preferred to enhance your skill set.
• 2-3 years of work experience with the Housing Choice Voucher program or other housing assistance program is highly advantageous, helping you provide informed guidance to clients.
• One to two years of experience working with the mental health population is preferred, bolstering your ability to empathize and connect with individuals facing various challenges.

Knowledge and skills required for the position
