About the role
The role of Housing Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and implementing various housing programs within Montgomery County. The coordinator works closely with community partners, residents, and local government officials to ensure the successful delivery of services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement housing programs that meet the needs of the community
- Collaborate with community partners to secure funding and resources
- Manage and oversee program implementation, including budgeting and reporting
- Engage with residents to gather feedback and improve program effectiveness
- Work with local government officials to advocate for policy changes that support housing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., social work, public administration)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing program management or related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing policies and regulations
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
