Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Housing, the Housing Operations Director is responsible for:
- Daily leadership and guidance for property management staff
- Establishing team goals
- Monitoring team and individual performance
- Conducting performance reviews
- Assessing staffing needs
- Recruiting, hiring, and terminating staff as necessary
Requirements
Housing programs include project based rental assistance, tax credit developments, private market developments and low-income public housing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, social science, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of senior-level management experience in residential property management
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Master’s Degree preferred
Skills
Must possess, or obtain within 12 months of hire, Project Based Rental Assistance and Low Income Housing Tax Credit Certifications, Certified Occupancy Specialist and LIHTC certification or equivalents.
