Position Summary
You work in our Dublin, Ohio office on a hybrid schedule, three days a week supporting regulatory compliance across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio. You would assist with reporting, file reviews, audits, inspections, and compliance tracking to ensure properties remain compliant with LIHTC, HOME, HUD, and other affordable housing program requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit compliance reports to state agencies, investors, and syndicators.
- Affirm compliance with HOME reporting, Annual Owner Certifications (AOC), and NSPIRE submissions.
- Maintain compliance tracking tools and reporting deadlines.
- Ensure compliance documentation is accurate and complete.
- Collect, review, and upload tenant and property documentation.
- Verify files meet regulatory requirements before submission.
- Support audit and inspection preparation and follow-up.
- Track inspection findings, corrective actions, 8823 filings, MORs, and NSPIRE inspections.
- Cook with with property teams, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and respond to compliance-related communications.
- Organize and maintain records in electronic filing systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative work, preferably in affordable housing, compliance, or property management experience.
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management/compliance software (Yardi preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Occasional travel (up to 25%).
- Ability to perform office-based work and computer-related tasks.
