About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Housing Management Team as a Housing Advisor (37 hours per week) on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract or 6-month Secondment basis. The role involves providing an effective and responsive housing management service and delivering positive outcomes for our tenants.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with proven experience supporting tenants. You should be approachable, compassionate, and passionate about delivering a high-quality service. The role requires effective communication skills, the ability to handle potentially difficult situations, and strong organisational skills to prioritise a demanding workload while maintaining accurate records and high service-delivery standards.

Once fully trained, there will be the opportunity to work in a hybrid way based on service needs and demands.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a wide range of tenant queries from customers and internal departments via face-to-face, telephone, and digital channels.
  • Provide administrative support to Housing Officers.
  • Conduct external visits, including estate walkabouts, statutory gas service visits, and other site visits with tenants, stakeholders, and council members.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure high standards in service delivery.
  • Work across all aspects of tenancy management.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in administration and clerical duties.
  • Experience working with policies and procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.

Pay

Salary: £27,254–£28,598 (Salary Band: £20,001 to £30,000).

Schedule

Full-time (37 hours per week), fixed-term for 6 months.
