Houseperson - Housekeeping (Seasonal)

About the role

The Housekeeping House-person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel, stocking and inventory of housekeeping supplies, deep cleaning guest rooms, and assisting room attendants with linen. This fast‑paced role supports Room Attendants, requires a professional demeanor, and involves flexible AM/PM shifts any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the hotel
• Stock and inventory housekeeping supplies
• Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms
• Assist room attendants with linen handling
• Support Room Attendants in a fast‑paced environment
• Work professionally and adapt to changing daily tasks as business needs dictate

Qualifications

• Strong desire to satisfy others’ needs in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work various shifts, especially weekends and holidays (mornings, afternoons, evenings)
• Good organization skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent team player with a positive, helpful attitude
• Physically fit to perform all duties
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, squat, lean, and rotate the body
• Provide genuine service to all guests
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
• Previous housekeeping experience in offices, resorts, cruise ships, or hotels is an asset
• Previous experience with HotSOS/Rex is preferred

Pay

$21.50 per hour

Schedule

Seasonal position lasting approximately 3 months, with flexibility to work AM and PM shifts any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
