Houseperson- Housekeeping

About the role

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and supports the Room Attendants on the guest floors. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Stocking carts
• Prepping guestrooms to be cleaned
• Removing trash
• Stripping bed linen
• Working on special projects throughout the hotel

This is a fast-paced position requiring good communication skills, the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight, and the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods (up to 8 hours per shift). Must have fully open and flexible availability.

Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous hotel experience is preferred
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $25.25–$26.25. This is the pay rate Hyatt Regency Newport Beach reasonably expects to pay.
