Job Overview
Aid room attendants on assigned floors; collect and transport dirty linens, deliver fresh linens, and respond to guest requests.
Responsible Business
- Collect newspaper and other recyclables
- Assist room attendants with heavy items
- Clean public areas and assigned floors
- Remove and transport dirty linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas
- May assist with deep cleaning projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred
- Ability to carry or lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds frequently
- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling
Other
- Significant communication skills needed when interacting with guests and employees
- Reading and writing abilities utilized often when reading assignments and completing checklists
- May work nights, weekends, and holidays
