About the role

The Hausperson helps keep Gravity Haus clean, organized, and welcoming for members and guests. This role supports the Haus-Keeping team by maintaining public spaces, hallways, and back-of-house areas while helping ensure the property looks and feels its best each day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public spaces including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, fitness areas, and other shared spaces to ensure the property remains clean, organized, and welcoming for members and guests.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and periodically deep clean public areas, furniture, and fixtures to uphold Gravity Haus cleanliness standards.
  • Support daily housekeeping operations through linen and supply delivery, trash and recycling removal, laundry transport, and restocking housekeeping and service areas as needed.
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest service needs, including spills, broken glass, special cleaning requests, and other operational support tasks across the property.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning and housekeeping supplies and ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after each shift.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, property damage, and lost-and-found items in accordance with company procedures and guest privacy standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Haus-Keeping team and other departments to support efficient daily operations and consistently deliver a clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Comfortable working on varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
