Houseperson - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, including elevators, tracks, linen rooms, hallways, stairwells, balconies, and machines (ice, soda).
• Sign for and manage beepers, keys, and port-a-vac equipment.
• Check with supervisor for specific attention areas and projects before deep cleaning.
• Maintain linen and supply inventories in linen rooms, straightening shelves as needed.
• Periodically maintain GRA carts during shift.
• Clean cigarette urns inside and outside as needed.
• Prepare lists of items needing repair.
• Answer and handle service calls promptly.
• Check rollaways and baby cribs for serviceability.
• Spot check and clean hallway mirrors frequently.
• Deep clean all rooms in assigned area quarterly.
• Maintain GRA vacuums, belts, and bags.
• Receive and stock housekeeping supplies.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to staff and guests.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous houseperson experience preferred.

Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.

Pay

Starting salary: $18.00 hourly.
