About the role

The Houseperson supports housekeeping operations by maintaining cleanliness and order throughout all public areas, assisting room attendants, and ensuring timely delivery of linens, supplies, and guest requests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and back-of-house spaces
• Assist room attendants with delivering linens, towels, amenities, and supplies
• Remove trash, recyclables, and debris from designated areas throughout the property
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping closets, storage areas, and supply carts
• Respond to guest and housekeeping requests in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
