Houseperson

Responsibilities

• Support Room Attendants by stocking linen closets and delivering supplies
• Deliver clean linens and remove soiled linens throughout the hotel
• Set up and deliver rollaway beds, cribs, refrigerators, and other guest requests
• Maintain guest hallways, stairwells, storage rooms, and back-of-house areas
• Remove trash, recyclables, dishware, and other items from guest floors
• Complete specialized cleaning projects, including carpet care, upholstery, windows, and ice machines
• Assist with furniture moves and room setup as needed
• Monitor housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Keep housekeeping storage areas organized and fully stocked
• Respond promptly to radio calls and guest requests
• Aid in completing specialized cleaning projects, including carpet care, upholstery, windows, and ice machines
• Avoid accidents and injuries by following safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with fellow housekeeping associates and other hotel departments
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, healthcare, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and remain physically active throughout the shift
• Commitment to providing exceptional guest service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

$16.00/hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience
