We are currently looking for outgoing, energetic, and customer service-oriented individuals to fill the position of Houseperson. At DoubleTree by Hilton Highline Vail, we pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a luxury mountain hotel, we focus on delivering exceptional service in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Evening Houseperson to join our team and help ensure our property remains immaculate and ready to exceed guest expectations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, hallways, and meeting spaces.
- Clean and stock restrooms, ensuring they remain well-maintained and hygienic throughout the shift.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event rooms and meeting spaces.
- Stock and replenish linen closets and supplies for housekeeping and other departments.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for assistance with housekeeping or maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experience.
- Conduct light maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs or addressing minor repairs.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management or supervisors to support hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a housekeeping, janitorial, or houseperson role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests and coworkers professionally.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
