HOUSEPERSON Location: HAMPTON INN/HOME2 SUITES 1155 Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Houseperson to join our team at Hampton Inn/Home2 Suites in Tampa, FL. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy-duty work as directed by the Executive Housekeeper. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with guests, vendors, co-workers and management.Remove dirty linen from cleaning carts or designated area and deliver to laundry as assigned.Clean all guest corridors, floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas as assigned.Remove trash from cleaning carts and deposit in dumpsters.Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment.Dusts and polishes metal work.Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when necessary.Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalentMust be available to work days, nights and weekendsAbility to frequently bend, stoop, lift and walk for extended period of time.Ability to move, lift and carry, push pull, and place heavy objects.
