About the role

We're searching for a houseperson with exceptional people skills who is enthusiastic and courteous to make sure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay. We require a multi-talented person capable of handling a wide range of duties.

Responsibilities

• Keep hotel public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies
• Help deliver guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding
• Perform any specially assigned tasks by housekeeping managers
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the hotel's exterior spaces such as the parking lot, swimming pool, landscaping, etc
• Assist in setup/cleanup of meeting rooms
• Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers
• Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens
• Assure a clean environment in the guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and other work areas

Qualifications

• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)
• Must have 1 or more years experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in hospitality field
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills

Pay

$17.13 – $19 hourly
