About the role
NVMHI is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Worker for the evening shift to maintain cleanliness in the hospital, exchange linens, gather and dispose of refuse, move furniture and equipment, and identify and report items for repair.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital
- Exchange linens and gather/dispose of refuse
- Move furniture and equipment as needed
- Identify and report items requiring repair
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift, stoop, bend, pull, push, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and tools
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Effective communication with all levels of NVMHI staff
Schedule
- Evening shift: 3:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Alternating weekends required
Pay
$17.25 per hour
