Housekeeping Technician -Full Time - Days

Pay

The Pay Range is $15.00 - $17.79 per hour.

Schedule

This position works Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and works every 4th Saturday.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning, floor care, refurbishment and renovation of private residences as well as public areas when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pleasant personality and demeanor, desire to work in an environment with residents.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments; ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
• Self-motivated, able to schedule time wisely and accommodate changes.
• Pleasant personality, enjoy working with people, have good manners, and be able to deal tactfully with others: excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic, fast learner.
• Able to work quickly and carefully in a safe manner, and motivate others to do the same.
• Must be able to operate all power equipment throughout the VMRC campus safely.
• Works in reaching or strained positions for about half of the day.
• Reports to work in uniform.

Qualifications

• Acceptable DMV driving record to obtain authorization on the VMRC-approved drivers list if driving a VMRC vehicle is needed.
