Housekeeping Team Member - Crossroads

About the role

The Housekeeping Associate is an essential member of the Gold’s Gym team, ensuring that all areas of the facility are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming for members. The role includes performing a variety of cleaning duties, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting the overall member experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility cleaning and maintenance tasks, including:
  • Cleaning outside glass and interior mirrors
  • Wiping down equipment, doors, and floors as needed
  • Emptying trash receptacles daily
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, stairwells, and staircases
  • Cleaning carpets and hard-surface floors as needed
  • Cleaning fitness equipment thoroughly
  • Cleaning bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors
  • Dusting furniture and fixtures daily
  • Cleaning management offices daily
  • Mopping and sweeping lobby floors
• Perform locker room cleaning tasks, including:
  • Sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and dusting locker rooms
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors
  • Refilling soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Cleaning out lint and maintaining general tidiness
  • Buffing locker/lobby room floors as needed
• Maintain and organize cleaning tools and equipment, including:
  • Cleaning and maintaining mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners
  • Ensuring equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly
  • Cleaning vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily
  • Stocking carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines
• Perform other duties, including:
  • Picking up debris on carpets and performing vacuuming as needed
  • Reporting maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly
  • Collaborating professionally with gym staff and management
