Job Qualifications
- Quality control, customer relations and ability to follow procedures required.
- Good organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong phone and verbal skills.
- Able to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
- Pleasant attitude when dealing with guests and employees.
- Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Able to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee housekeepers and house persons, ensuring all work is completed according to established standards through regularly scheduled written inspections.
- Maintain department equipment.
- Ensure all lost and found, keys, and other items are turned in daily.
- Maintain condition of rooms and buildings by reporting maintenance issues.
- Motivate, encourage, and train as needed.
- Recommend employees for recognition and/or counseling with accompanying documentation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management, including GRA and House Person duties.
Customer Service Expectations
- Give accurate directions, guiding the guest if needed.
- Tell the guest to “have fun” and “come again”.
- Tell about the properties and amenities to encourage the guest to have fun.
Physical Demands
- The work requires extensive and repetitious physical exertion, bending or kneeling repeatedly, lifting, pulling, and pushing moderately heavy objects.
- Good sense of smell, sight, and hearing required.
Work Environment
- The work environment involves everyday risks and discomforts typical of smoke-filled environments and pet accommodated environments.
- Work takes place indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather, and in extreme weather conditions when outdoors, e.g., heat in the summer.
- Use of safe work practices required.
