Housekeeping Supervisor - Upscale Skilled Nursing

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Freedom Square of Seminole is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department. This includes supervising housekeepers, coordinating annual apartment cleanings, managing inventory, and performing duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the performance of all housekeepers through personal inspections and room checks, as assigned.
• Coordinate annual apartment cleanings with the Environmental Services Director.
• Conduct inventories of all housekeeping supplies and place monthly orders for supplies.
• Schedule all apartment cleaning and special cleaning projects.
• Perform the duties of a Housekeeper as necessary.
• Implement and monitor departmental compliance with all infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as signed by the Facilities Director.

Qualifications

• A high school education.
• Prior housekeeping supervisory experience in a retirement community, hotel, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and infection control procedures.
