HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR, SPN EVS

About the role

Oversees and directs the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment.

Assists the Coordinating Manager in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping and keeping them informed on the immediate condition of all assigned areas.

Trains, supervises, and motivates the departmental personnel to ensure all schedules are complete.

Participates in the department's performance improvement activities.

Ensures quality results by overseeing and assisting with the coordination of schedules for cleaning of patient rooms, offices, clinical and public areas using the 7 Step cleaning process.

Captures and coordinates routine floor and carpet cleaning.

Conducts daily walk-through inspections to ensure delivery of housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Three to five years Housekeeping/Environmental Services experience preferred.
• A year or more management or supervisor experience required.
• May be expected to drive personal vehicle to and from various job sites.
