Essential Functions
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
- Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
- Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways.
- Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
- Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
- Safeguards appropriate supplies and linens for Guest Room Attendants (GRAs).
- Aids in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
- Aids in processing AM and PM room status reports.
- Safeguards the linen cart and linen closets on guest room floors.
- Maintains daily knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
- Ensures VIP rooms are inspected before noon.
- Participates and monitors the new hire training process.
- Ensures check-out rooms are a priority.
- Maintains a clean, safe and secure environment for hotel, guests and associates.
Qualifications
- Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Able to work with management on special projects.
- Must work with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Tools & Equipment: Cleaning supplies, Personal protective equipment, Radio.
