Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Spectrum Retirement Communities is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the community's facilities, ensuring they are safe and comfortable for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to residents and/or family members
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, addressing any deficiencies immediately
• Ensure the safety of the community by coordinating cleaning of rent-ready and move-in-ready apartments
• Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
• Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team

Qualifications

• A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of housekeeping experience required
• A year of supervisory or management experience in housekeeping or environmental services
