Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
- Ensures that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
- Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis.
- Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately.
- Completes accident investigations and takes steps to prevent future accidents.
- Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
- Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
- Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
- Performs opening and closing shift duties.
- Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
- Maintains cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
- Acts as Manager on Duty when required.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position.
- Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
- Excellent time management skills.
