Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms including nametag, gloves, and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards consistently.
• Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately.
• Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly select assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notify GM and/or Chief Engineer of necessary maintenance repairs.
• Monitor cleanliness of the hotel, including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership Housekeeping position.
• Minimum of High School education; post-high school education preferred.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time management skills.

Pay

Compensation Range: $16.00 - $19.20 per hour.
