Housekeeping Supervisor

At Parkland Health Center, we offer great leadership opportunities and multiple ways to advance within your career. We are currently hiring for Evening positions, specifically 2:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Monday to Friday) with weekends required when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of operations and activities of the Housekeeping Department.
• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
• Makes contributions to the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and has direct responsibility for adhering to those goals.
• Schedules work assignments and ensures the schedule is adjusted and posted.
• Responds to and prioritizes pager requests.
• Conducts new hire department orientation, training and in-services as needed.
• Performs regular inspections to ensure staff are following established procedures in order to meet compliance and regulatory guidelines and to provide infection control.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree.
• Experience: 5-10 years Supervisor Experience.
