Position Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Palm House standards. This position requires leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team daily.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff.
- Manage scheduling, attendance, and task assignments for housekeeping team.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Communicate maintenance or guest issues to management promptly.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and chemical handling protocols.
- Address guest complaints or special requests professionally.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years supervisory experience in housekeeping.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be available full-time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to oversee team operations in multiple areas.
Work Environment
Guest rooms, public areas, and team coordination in a hotel environment.
Grooming Standards
Maintain clean, professional attire and appearance.
