The Housekeeping Supervisor at San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a vital position that involves supervising a team responsible for maintaining sparkling clean guest rooms, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces. This role directly impacts the guests' stay by ensuring all standards are met and the environment is hazard-free.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the Housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure all guest rooms, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces are clean and hazard-free.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Management team to address any issues and improve processes.
- Take ownership of tasks and provide constructive feedback to the team to foster growth and improvement.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Experience in a similar size hotel (357+ rooms), preferably in an upscale independent hotel.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
