Housekeeping Supervisor

JOB DETAILS Housekeeping Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team within our skilled nursing facility. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily housekeeping operations, supervising staff, and ensuring resident rooms and common areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation. This position plays an important role in providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members. Responsibilities Supervise, train, schedule, and support housekeeping staff.Assign daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning responsibilities.Monitor completed work to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met.Oversee the cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, furnishings, and equipment.Ensure staff use approved cleaning products, equipment, and procedures.Maintain adequate housekeeping supplies and report ordering needs.Address housekeeping concerns promptly and professionally.Follow infection-control practices and all applicable facility policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with facility leadership and other departments.Assist with housekeeping duties when needed. Qualifications Previous housekeeping supervisory experience required.Experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare setting, or similar environment preferred.Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.Ability to supervise staff and manage daily assignments effectively.Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.A patient, respectful, and positive approach when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities.Ability to perform the essential duties and physical requirements of the position.
