Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Element hotel in Charlotte, NC. This person will oversee the housekeeping staff and department under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper. We are looking for an energetic and thorough individual to help our hotel achieve award-winning standards and ensure the satisfaction of all hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back of the house.
• Obtain lists of vacant rooms that need cleaning and prospective rooms to prepare work assignments.
• Maintain all supplies and equipment, assist in monthly inventory, and maintain inventory levels.
• Maintain the security of all housekeeping, maid, and guest room keys at all times.
• Document and communicate maintenance requests to the maintenance department.

Requirements

• One year of supervisory experience.
• One year of housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.
