As a Housekeeping Supervisor at the Omaha Marriott Downtown, you'll ensure every guest room, public space, and back-of-house area shines with impeccable cleanliness and be the final touch in creating a flawless first impression for our guests, inspecting each space to uphold the property's high standards of excellence.

What will you be doing?
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and corridors for cleanliness and quality, updating room status as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and up to standard.
- Provide organization, guidance, and communication while reinforcing the hotel's high standards.
- Ensure housekeeping carts and linen closets are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Inspect VIP rooms and randomly check rooms for quality compliance, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Handle special guest requests and assist with deliveries, ensuring timely service.
- Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
- Report any suspicious activity or hazardous conditions to the Loss Prevention Department and respond to guest inquiries.
What do you bring to the role?
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- A High School education preferred.
- A minimum of six months of supervisory experience or one year of relevant housekeeping and clerical experience required.
- Efficient with computer programs.
- Written and verbal skills in English to communicate with other departments and guests.
- Clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exercise judgment and monitor staff performance effectively.
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
