Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living, a beautiful 87-acre continuing care retirement community in Parkville, MD.

About the role

Join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor to provide leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeeping team members, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily assignments and schedules to include established routine duties for housekeeping staff.
• Inspect premises to determine next assignments and ensure trash/garbage removal meets health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including receiving dock areas and community grounds.
• Train new employees, assign tasks, and closely supervise until fully trained.
• Maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Create weekly, monthly, and semi-monthly cleaning schedules for common areas of the facility.
• Investigate and resolve housekeeping-related complaints.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
• Previous experience in a leadership role preferred.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
