Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor position offers an escape with 24/7 ocean views and blissed-out beach vibes at Tides Folly Beach and Avocet Hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and laundry staff.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms; order supplies according to a budget.
• Handle guest complaints regarding housekeeping services.
• Ensure rooms and common areas are kept clean and hazard-free.
• Organize staff during the day and host daily meetings with housekeeping staff.
• Assist guests with questions and requests.
• Provide high-level customer service at all times.
• Train new housekeepers after hire.
• Supervise Laundry Attendants, Room Attendants, Housemen, and Lobby Attendants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Understanding of providing excellent customer service.
• Effective team management skills.
• Organizational skills for timely task completion.
• Teaching ability to others.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Basic computer knowledge for scheduling, recordkeeping, etc.

Pay

$22-23 per hour.

Schedule

Hours vary based on the types of services being performed and the facility in which the individual is working.
