Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Duties

• Provide guests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous and genuine hospitality.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer services before they are requested.
• Assist the Housekeeping Executive with the daily management of the Housekeeping department, including scheduling, room assignment, inspection, supervision, coaching, training, and counseling.
• Manage and maintain inventories and equipment to meet the property’s needs.
• Maintain all safety standards and communicate any concerns to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain open and professional communication with other department heads and supervisors to address the needs of guests and team members promptly.
• Work with the Executive Housekeeper to manage budgets according to guidelines and ensure they are within the brand’s standards.
• Maintain and monitor Brand Service Scores and ensure cleanliness scores are communicated to the team and corrective actions are taken to exceed the brand’s average.
• Ensure all team members attend mandatory meetings and complete required training.
• Ability to perform tasks such as grasping, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Housekeeping experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior Supervisor experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically active work environment
