Housekeeping Shift Manager - Borgata

The Role

The Housekeeping Shift Manager role at MGM Resorts International offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vibrant and diverse environment of a hotel. You'll play a key part in ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and welcoming, while also developing leadership skills and gaining insights into back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to and resolves employee and guest concerns
• Ensures the overall cleanliness of property rooms
• Maintains the privacy and confidentiality of guests
• Maintains records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees
• Completes daily worksheets accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervises assigned floors and ensures all rooms, hallways, and other areas are cleaned to property standards

Requirements

• Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role in a similar resort setting
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred

The pay rate for this role is $24.00 per hour. Overtime pay is calculated in accordance with state requirements.
