Housekeeping - Room Attendant

About the role

The Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway is seeking individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team. This role is crucial for ensuring guests have a memorable and relaxing stay.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Properly utilize equipment supplies and guest amenities
• Thoroughly clean assigned guest areas daily, changing and inspecting linens and towels according to the Green Program
• Practice safety standards and report any hazards immediately
• Respect guests' property and maintain equipment responsibly
• Report to work on time and follow proper standards for room issuance
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.
