Housekeeping Relief Worker

About the role

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of buildings operated by the Center and ensures that the buildings are maintained at the highest standards and quality in keeping with the nature of the services provided such as sweeping and mopping of floors; vacuuming carpeted areas; cleaning and maintaining supplies in bathrooms; cleaning walls, doors and windows; removal and storage of soiled laundry; maintaining and stocking housekeeping storage rooms; and all related housekeeping duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required
  • A minimum of at least one (1) year of housekeeping experience within a healthcare facility or two (2) years general housekeeping experience required
  • A valid Driver's License preferred

Schedule

Must be available on weekends for 12-hour day/night shift. Additionally, this position is expected to be available on-call for temporary housekeeping support as needed.
