Vista Senior Living Management, a dedicated branch tailored specifically for senior communities, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeping Aide to join the Woods Of Caledonia team. Specializing in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living services, Vista ensures unparalleled personalized care and 24-hour assistance for our residents. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for our seniors.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Duties:
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them properly
  • Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
  • Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the facility
• Basic Maintenance Support:
  • Assist with minor repairs and upkeep, including fixing closet doors
  • Snaking toilets
  • Hanging pictures
  • Helping with flood clean-up
  • Assembling simple furniture (e.g., items ordered online)
• General Responsibilities:
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and professional regulations

Schedule

Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7AM-3PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and facility staff
• Knowledge of infection control techniques
• Ability to be patient and polite
