About the role

Busy Specialty Referral Veterinary Hospital in Ithaca, NY is seeking a casual/part‑time housekeeping/maintenance person. This is a physically demanding, rewarding position for a dependable, hard‑working individual.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors, exam rooms, and bathrooms
• Emptying trash and recycling
• Handling laundry
• Disinfecting surfaces
• Performing assigned maintenance projects

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work days, late nights, weekends, and some holiday shifts
• Flexibility with shifting hours and good time‑management skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Proactive attitude – able to jump in to meet hospital needs without being asked
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs
