Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor

About the Role

The primary purpose of your job is to provide a clean, well-maintained, and homelike environment and deliver quality laundry services by directing the overall operations of the department. You will ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community, while following all health, sanitary, and infection control policies. Your work will uphold the established standards of practice set by the community's administration and Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Oversee and direct laundry operations to ensure quality service.
• Adhere to health, sanitary, and infection control policies.
• Comply with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience as a floor technician is a plus.
