The Harrison Group is a 3rd generation family business that has been owned and operated in Ocean City, Maryland, since 1951. We operate over fifteen hotels and seven restaurants across Ocean City, Maryland; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Corolla, North Carolina; and Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Our portfolio is constantly evolving, with yearly renovations at all properties to enhance and refresh the guest experience. Responsibilities

• Performs sorting, treating, washing, drying, folding, and pressing of hotel laundry.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping and laundry departmental standards are followed.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted, push carts, reach, stand for long periods, and operate heavy machinery.
• Ability to work safely in a laundry room environment with running machinery, detergents, noisy equipment, and close proximity to others.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

Pay

$15–$17 USD per hour (Ocean City, MD).
