About the role

Azria Health Rose Vista is hiring a full-time Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant. This is a dual position combining the roles of Housekeeper and Laundry Aide.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
  • Remove trash & soiled linens.
  • Lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work as a team member and have a love for the residents.
  • Have a solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind.
  • Be reliable & keep to schedule & willing to learn.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
  • Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills.
  • Complete job-related tasks assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Director.

Housekeeper Requirements

  • Experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details and be aware of safety.
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and have a love for the residents.
  • Must have a solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind.
  • Must be reliable & keep to schedule & must be willing to learn.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
  • Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills.

Housekeeper Experience

  • Have a proven record of making responsible decisions with the resident's best interest in mind at all times.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effectively worked with professional personnel from outside contractors.
  • Poorven history of relating well with residents and their families.
  • Used caution in performing duties and maintained safe working practices.
  • Proficient with cleaning supplies and/or chemicals and their uses.
  • Knowledge of professional cleaning equipment, supplies, and common house cleaning devices such as brooms, mops.
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members.

Laundry Aide Requirements

  • Experienced at doing laundry with a keen eye for details and be aware of safety.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness & safety in designated areas.

  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.

  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
  • Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills.

Laundry Aide Experience

  • Have a proven record of making responsible decisions with the resident's best interest in mind at all times.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Poorven history of relating well with residents and their families.
  • Used caution in performing duties and maintained safe working practices.
  • Proficient with cleaning supplies and/or chemicals and their uses.
  • Knowledge of professional cleaning equipment, supplies, and common house cleaning devices such as commercial washers and driers.
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members.
