Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team at AdviniaCare Oakland Grove in Woonsocket, RI.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Separate, launder, hang, and put away resident personal clothes and facility linens in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely mix and store chemicals according to established protocols
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when cleaning or doing laundry
• Work collaboratively with other housekeepers/laundry aides to achieve our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
