Responsibilities
- Follows all policy, procedures, service standards and radio etiquette.
- Follows appearance guidelines and uniform standards.
- Maintains staff in assigned area to ensure timely completion of work.
- Reinforces great working practices and coaches team members as necessary.
- Trains all new staff, including temporary, H2B, and J-1 student staff.
- Observes staff performing various assignments and re-trains if necessary.
- Holds team accountable for daily duties or reports issues to management.
- Conducts daily area inspections, including lock offs, VIP presentations, quality checks, stocking, owner arrivals, linen huts, golf carts, areas out of service, and reports maintenance issues.
- Completes daily inspections and provides feedback to staff.
- Maintains assigned equipment and supplies, ensuring repairs and security.
- Performs cleaning duties in assigned areas, including deep cleaning and restocking supplies.
- Cleans guest villas and cafés as required.
- Assists with monthly linen inventories and reports to dispatch.
- Monitors and reports daily DND requests.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- At least 18 years old.
- Eye for detail and unwavering commitment to quality.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team.
- General reading, writing, and math skills.
- General computer skills.
- Physical abilities to push/pull up to 500 lbs., lift/carry 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, bend, stand, walk, and climb stairs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year housekeeping experience at a full-service hotel/resort.
- Previous supervisory/inspector experience preferred.
