This is a supervisory and operational position, responsible not only for ensuring that cleaning is completed but also for verifying its quality, maintaining documentation, identifying hazards, and correcting deficiencies. Housekeeping In-Charge – Job Responsibilities Cleaning Supervision: Ensure cleanliness of all hospital floors, cabins, wards, toilets, corridors and public areas.Staff Management: Assign duties, prepare rosters, monitor attendance and supervise housekeeping staff.Infection Control: Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, PPE use and hygiene standards.Waste Management: Supervise proper segregation, collection and disposal of hospital waste.Daily Inspection: Inspect all assigned areas and verify cleaning checklists.Patient Satisfaction: Respond promptly to cleanliness complaints and maintain a comfortable environment.Inventory Control: Monitor cleaning materials, equipment and supply requirements.Maintenance Coordination: Report damaged facilities, leaks and safety hazards.Staff Training: Train employees on cleaning SOPs, safety and professional conduct.Reporting: Submit daily housekeeping reports, staff performance updates and unresolved issues to management.
